John is going thru his THIRD pair of glasses within 6 mths. Finally decided to get a plastic version a try. Hope this one can stand up the abuse.
Checking for insects. John has become an expert in insectology. He can not just name them but he also dares to catch them - with his bare hands.
The plants and the grasses are all lush and green.
The park is now almost 90% completed. More and more interesting pieces are been put up.
With the end of the school exams, the kids are looking forward to their long school break. Already getting restless...

And all the way from Seattle, I just got news from Colin my buddy that his wife, Huey-Jy, was baptised not too long ago also! Praise the Lord! And that's baby Alyssa... a 100% carbon copy of her daddy.
Here's Johnny in the pool. And Edel heaved a sigh of relief cuz the water didn't overflow as she first feared... ;)
My old buddy Johnny was baptised this evening! Here's him checking out the spelling on his "new birth cert" with the wife.
We had a black out a couple of nites ago. The kids were supposed to go to bed early for their year end exam. Ended up sleeping only after 9:30pm!

It will still be quite some time before the park is ready. But when it is, it will be fabulous. And the best part is, this place is only two lanes away!
A "back view" of Admiral Chen & his "boat".
Really cool architecture. Spare no expense. This park is fully donated by the Chinese Government.
Nitty corners dotted the sizeable park. Here we have a path for "bare foot massage" with lots of pointy gravels & stones.
This park is amazing. Lots of cool places for picture taking. Already the neighbors are pouring in to check out the place. John wasn't too happy to be photographed cuz he was hoping to sit down and read his latest book.
The new Chinese-themed park near my house is near completion. We dropped by to check it out this evening.
Old friend Ai Chuan sent me some family pix. Not too sure where is this place but couldn't be New York City where they live.
